Now I’m going to try a new style of post. After some “constructive criticism” from my man, he very kindly pointed out that the Singapore Tourist {Part 1} writing style was not dissimilar to a 5 year old talking about their summer holiday: “we did this and then we did this and then we did this and after that we did this…”

Singapore - an afternoon at Raffles

We had planned an early evening aperitif at Raffles hotel one afternoon, before heading back from dinner. But it was raining. 

A lot. 

So we settled for an after lunch tipple.

Singapore Tourist {Part One}

As I mentioned in my post a couple days ago, I’ve been away.

The Man and I popped over to Singapore for 11 days. It was a holiday, a visit to my sister, brother-in-law and nephew for his first birthday and the Grand Prix all rolled into one.

But first an apology. 

Here is an example of the usual beautiful Singapore skyline vs. what it is like at the moment (courtesy of my sister). 

Singapore is currently experiencing some really controversial pollution caused by Indonesia (read more on the BBC news site) so there weren’t many blues skies around. Most of my photos are dull in colour and don’t have great backgrounds but hey, at least you know they’re real! 

But on to the holiday!

Re-Bucket List: Zanzibar

I went to Zanzibar.

It was over 3 years ago and I had just climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (definitely a post for another time - it was incredible!!). Ever since, visiting Zanzibar has been on my “re-bucket list”.

What if I fall?

So here goes, my first post.

I have been reading blogs for over 4 years, wondering if it is something I could do too and do you know what? It's high time I stop wondering and start doing.
