Deliciously Oozing Baked Camembert

Remember last weekend when I told you about the scrumptious sesame sausages? Well I have a confession... The Man and I had a rather indulgent supper.

This happened:

CB Social

Don't hate me, but I'm going to be shameless.

This is just a little shoutout to anyone who fancies some new inspiration on the social media front.

First things first, Instagram.
I'm not one of those boring people who just shares photos they've shared on they blog or saved from Pinterest, you get a lil' bit of everything. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself...

Scrumptious Sesame Sausages

Now if you read Rosie's blog over on The Londoner, you'll know there are two essential things for bonfire night:

1. Sausages
2. Hot, spiced cider

You can’t beat the London skyline at night… It’s just breath-taking!

Singapore - the State of Fun

The day before the Grand Prix we spent the day on Sentosa.

Singapore Tourist {Part 2}

Now I’m going to try a new style of post. After some “constructive criticism” from my man, he very kindly pointed out that the Singapore Tourist {Part 1} writing style was not dissimilar to a 5 year old talking about their summer holiday: “we did this and then we did this and then we did this and after that we did this…”

Singapore - an afternoon at Raffles

We had planned an early evening aperitif at Raffles hotel one afternoon, before heading back from dinner. But it was raining.

A lot.

So we settled for an after lunch tipple.

Fall into Fall: Faux Fur

This blog is still full of firsts for me. My first style post.

Singapore Tourist {Part One}

As I mentioned in my post a couple days ago, I’ve been away.

The Man and I popped over to Singapore for 11 days. It was a holiday, a visit to my sister, brother-in-law and nephew for his first birthday and the Grand Prix all rolled into one.

But first an apology.

Here is an example of the usual beautiful Singapore skyline vs. what it is like at the moment (courtesy of my sister).

Singapore is currently experiencing some really controversial pollution caused by Indonesia (read more on the BBC news site) so there weren’t many blues skies around. Most of my photos are dull in colour and don’t have great backgrounds but hey, at least you know they’re real!

But on to the holiday!

Autumn Scarf Game in Check

You may have noticed, I’ve been away. (or did you think I was just being lazy?)

11 days in Singapore, a bloody good time and 28 degrees plus for the entire trip. Which brings me neatly to my point.

I returned back from my ‘olidays on Tuesday morning and was THROWN into autumn without warning. Jumpers, socks and scarves were promptly added to my outfit and I sped off to work, straight from the airport, hoping I wasn’t going to be too late.

Which brings me neatly to my post. SCARVES!

Seven Heroes Inside My Make-Up Bag

When it comes to make up, I am not a hoarder. I keep it simple.

My new man Pedro (sorry Mulberry)

I'd describe my style as boring “classic”.

I like the basics, why mess with them?
But you have basics that are boring and you have basics that hold their own.

Like this little bag from Pedro.

Notting Hill Carnival

A group of friends were heading down to Notting Hill Carnival last weekend and asked if I'd like to go along too.

I didn't really know what to expect having never been before. It is described as "Britain's Biggest Street Party" and boy oh boy, did it not disappoint.

We assembled the troops and took a team photo before heading out into the melee.

The Mad Hatters Tea Party

There are two meals I love more than any other. “But that means there is only one meal you don’t like?!” I hear you cry! Wrong my friends, introducing my favourites:

Brunch and Afternoon tea.

The finest two meals that you ever did see.

I’m a self confessed nibbler. I’m the person who orders last at a restaurant, just so they can make sure they don’t have the same thing as anyone else, and then asks everyone else if I can “just try a tiny bit?”

It was only natural therefore, that when my man took me out for a surprise birthday treat, Afternoon tea ensued.

We’d had a lazy morning and I’d been instructed to pack an overnight bag with something for a “nice dinner”. (I know right? Boys have no idea when it comes to outfits - so unhelpful!)

We hopped on the train and as we were whisked towards London I was given my first clue of the day.

Re-Bucket List: Zanzibar

I went to Zanzibar.

It was over 3 years ago and I had just climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (definitely a post for another time - it was incredible!!). Ever since, visiting Zanzibar has been on my “re-bucket list”.

What if I fall?

So here goes, my first post.

I have been reading blogs for over 4 years, wondering if it is something I could do too and do you know what? It's high time I stop wondering and start doing.
